Trying out pens!
For the last few years I’ve been very focused on improving my art skills specific to animation which means I’ve been primarily producing digital art. When I have worked traditionally, I haven’t followed many things through to completion, and simply used it as a method of studying forms.
However, I really wanted to take part in Inktober (for some reason). So, I thought I should probably get some practice in before the big game!
I brought some pens, because for some reason the ones gifted to me when I was 13 years old weren’t exactly cutting it any more… And I set to work! I had no idea what to draw and kind of just went for it, I guess. Honestly I still don’t really know what the final product is, I mean what does Springtrap from FNAF have to do with flowers??
Springtrap? More like SPRING (the season)-trap if you know what I mean! …Yeah I know that was terrible. I’m sorry, I’ll show myself out.
