INKTOBER (failed)
Oh yeah finally the year I take on Inktober and go all the way… or not…
Day 1: BACKPACK - not your average pic-a-nic basket! a cute little bear rummaging though a backpack.
Day 2: DISCOVER - who discovers more than the world-famous uncle travelling matt!! some would say no one does, I would be some.
Day 3: BOOTS - today was also my 21st birthday!! woo! so in commemoration of that I drew a mini cartoon version of me in my boots :)
Day 4: EXOTIC - an exotic fantasy world with giant mushroom trees!
Day 5: BINOCULARS - Suzy Bishop from Moonrise Kingdom (2012), very good movie btw.
DAY 6: TREK - this is based on a cool reference image I found but I added my own little twists.
Day 7: PASSPORT - this is just a random character I made up with a little help from my boyfriend. This is her old passport she used to get into all sorts of trouble back when she was around 14.
Day 8: HIKE - many people have criticised this years list and I don’t blame them alot of the words are very similar. With ‘hike’, I had a hard time trying to think of something that wouldn’t be too similar to ‘trek’. So, I made it very different and went with an old man hikin’ up his pants!
Day 9: SUN - this one is my favourite, it also took the longest but negative space drawings are always so fun and look so cool in my opinion. There are alot of different sun motifs but it did still end up giving more night vibes. After all, the sun is a star.
Day 10: NOMADIC - just a cool little van living out the nomadic life.
Day 11: SNACK - who is more of a snack than BOOBER FRAGGLE! (well if you don’t agree, he also has his own massive snack, the fraggles favourite: radish)
DAY 12: REMOTE - this seems pretty remote right?
I might be back with some more, if not, maybe I’ll try again next year!!
